Involvement: Peoria First Friday is a collaboration between multiple organizations in Peoria, IL to reach the community and inform them about events happening on the first Friday of every month. I was given the liberty to design and code this WordPress website from scratch while collaborating with a local Peoria photographer and graphic designer.
Involvement: The City of Peoria approached a group of developers, including myself, to create an open source website for their upcoming hackathon. This website was created using React.js and I created the design and layout of the website. It was fun working with a team and collaborating when things needed to get done.
Involvement: Given my experience with Subscription-based eCommerce, Ben from Natural Music came to me to transition his business into an online music lessons website. Newcomers sign up monthly to access video lessons to learn an instrument at their own pace. After I learned about the customers Ben was trying to reach, a design was crafted to direct visitors to do one thing, sign up for online lessons.
Involvement: The site was already existing when I was brought on to help with user interface design and WordPress customization. Key features developments are: The ability for staff to pick and feature certain products, custom homepage banner to display current sales and coupons or any other call to action for the customer, and general performance enhancements such as speed and customization.
Involvement: Complete custom WordPress theme design and content creation. The goal of the site is to welcome online visitors to the site, and have all the necessary information easily accessible before someone would drive to church facility.
Involvement: Complete custom WordPress theme design and implementation. This client wanted a clean, simple interface for their website along with the ability to edit copy and content themselves, which with proper training, can easily be done by using WordPress.
