My Granada Travel Guide
A collection of my favorite places in Granada, Spain, with personal impressions and additional information.

Restaurante Mirador de Morayma
Mediterranean restaurant in an old house with patio views of the Alhambra. Great for sunset dinner as that's a little early for Spaniards to eat dinner so it's not crowded.

Los Manueles
Multiple locations, large croquettes. Cathedral location faces a popular square/plaza good for people watching.

Café Bar Bocadilleria Pibe
Bar in a cave like setting, but if you sit outside/on the road, it faces the Alhambra for a great view while eating cheese.

Rosario Varela
Modern Spot. Good for actual dinner but also new, no traditional tapas

Bar Poë
As close to an American dive you'll get in a good way. Small corner bar.

Horno de Paquito
Sometimes the tapa is snails if you want to roll the dice for something odd but still Spanish. Can sit in a small plaza surrounded by small buildings for a quiet drink.

Sacromonte Neighborhood
Large neighborhood in Granada that's placed on a hill (wear comfy shoes) where most buildings are cave like and painted white.

Mirador de San Nicolás
Great sunset view in the Sacremonte. Can get crowded as Bill Clinton mentioned this spot in his memoir.

Calle Calderería Nueva
Stepped street with small local shops along with novelty and gift shops.

Fuente del Paseo de los Tristes
Walk along the river Darro for small shops and some restaurants to get to this plaza.

Plaza Joe Strummer
Small dusty plaza named after famed punk rock leading man of The Clash

Colegio de Santo Domingo de Vistillas
Art filled street featuring graffiti from artists around the world
